Nintendo Wii vs XBOX 360

In this Scobleizer blog post, Mr. Scoble talks about how he traditionally has been an Xbox fan above and beyond everything else. Except he just got his hands on a nintendo wii and found it to be a lot more interactive with a ton of games that are offered. He also goes on to say that after you get started playing a wii, it is so interactive that you forget that the graphics are not as great as a 360 or playstation 3. Halo 2, the most played video game in the past 5 years is coming out with a sequel Halo3 later this summer and it apparently is not getting the reviews it hoped for. I know my roomate has the regular Xbox and my close friends and I could not stop playing Halo2 for almost a year and a half. The live version of Halo is one of the most addicting games I have ever come across, since i had regular nintendo when i was a little kid. Scoble also goes on to talk about how Microsoft could of done a lot more work when designing the new controller's for the 360. I tend to agree and disagree at the same time. The new 360 controllers are much more convenient than the old xbox controller's because they are wireless. On the other hand, the wii controller's are phenomenal compared to anything else because they create the whole atmosphere for gameplay. The nintendo Wii gets you up off the couch and moving around whether its swinging a bat in a baseball game, or its throwing a backhand in their interactive tennis game. To me, I believe that nintendo Wii is one step ahead of the competition with its interactive controller, and I think microsoft and sony should be worried. i have to disagree with the article i belive that better graphics on the 360 and ps3 will overcome the wii's interaction.
